Q We have a 46,000 Gallon Plaster pool that has developed some copper stains this week. Will this w... answer nowA
It should absolutely work on copper. One bottle treats 15,000 gallons, so you'll need about 3 bottles. You can check to see if it will work by using a vitamin C tablet on the stain. If it has a reaction, odds are good that the Super Stain Treat will remove it. We back it with a guarantee as well.

Q Do you have a video how to use Super Stain Treat?. I am a 77 years old homeowner nor handy at all... answer nowA
Hey Victor. Unfortunately we don't yet have video tutorials (it's in the works). Luckily the product is pretty safe so you don't have to worry about hurting anything. What you'll want to do is stop adding chlorine for a while to get it down to 1.0ppm or below, and then add acid until the pH reaches 7.2. From there you can either throw it straight in if you have a couple isolated stains, or dissolve it in a bucket and pour it around the pool if the stains are kind of everywhere. If you have a local store you go to for testing, they might be able to give you more specific direction based on your water chemistry. If you have more questions you can open a support ticket here: https://help.unitedchemical.com/portal/en/newticket

Temperature can have an affect on removing any stain. In general, the warmer the water the faster it should dissolve. Having said that, unless the water is very cold it should still remove the stains. If it's not working very well, go ahead and open a support ticket and we'd be happy to diagnose the issue and send you product for free to get the copper stains off.
