Your Hardness is Extremely High. You may want to double check your test kit for accuracy.

Recommendation: Partial Drain and Refill + Cal Treatâ¢

You need to check your fill water to determine if it's at least 200 ppm less than your current pool water hardness (any less of a difference and it's not worth it). Drain the pool a third of the way down and refill to dilute your hardness. You can then perform a treatment of Cal treatâ¢ to remove an additional 200-400ppm. Note: Only recommended for D.E. and Cellulose Fiber Filters.
